What Is a Spell Casting?

A spell casting is a spiritual practice in which a particular intention or wish becomes the focus of a specially prepared ritual.

For me, casting is about bringing together intention, concentration, traditional spiritual symbolism and manifestation practices.

Depending on the particular casting, I may work with candles, crystals, herbs, written intentions and other items associated with the purpose of the ritual.

Each element has its own traditional symbolism and is selected to reflect the intention being worked with.

Some castings are centred around new beginnings, while others may focus on abundance, confidence, positive opportunities, emotional harmony or personal growth.
 

I particularly enjoy the preparation involved, bringing the different elements together and concentrating on the intention chosen.

There is something lovely about taking time out of our busy lives to focus upon what we would like to welcome, improve or develop.

Spell casting is a spiritual practice rather than a scientifically established way of influencing events, and I always encourage people to approach it with an open mind and realistic expectations.
 

What Is a Distant Spell Casting?

This is one of the questions I am asked most frequently.

A distant casting simply means that I carry out the spiritual ritual on your behalf, without you needing to be physically present.

You can be anywhere in the country, or indeed elsewhere in the world, while I prepare and perform the casting from my own spiritual working space.

There is no need to travel, arrange a telephone appointment or join a live session.

When ordering, you choose the casting that reflects the intention you would like to focus upon.

I then use that intention as the centre of the spiritual ritual.

Within manifestation traditions, intentions are often described as being offered to the universe, or placed into universal energy.

I personally enjoy this idea of universal calling, concentrating upon a positive wish and symbolically releasing it rather than continually worrying about how or when something might happen.

Of course, everybody has their own beliefs about how spiritual practices work, and that is absolutely fine.

You don’t need to follow any particular spiritual tradition to enjoy taking part.
 

How Do I Carry Out My Castings?

Each type of casting has its own purpose, and the preparation may differ depending on the intention involved.

I enjoy working with the traditional associations of herbs, crystals, candle colours and other spiritual elements.

For certain rituals, I may use my cauldron as a central part of the preparation, bringing together the different symbolic elements chosen for that casting.

Other rituals may focus more closely upon candles, written intentions or crystals.

What matters to me is that the ritual has a clear intention and that the elements used reflect the particular theme.

Some castings are carried out individually, while others may form part of a special themed casting evening, such as a New Moon or Full Moon event.

Each listing will explain the purpose of the casting and any particular details you need to know before ordering.

I approach my castings as a positive, intention based spiritual practice, never as a means of frightening somebody or encouraging them to believe they have no control over their circumstances.

Sometimes we simply feel ready for a little change in our fortunes.

These castings focus on luck as a spiritual theme, encouraging an optimistic outlook, recognising possibilities and remaining open to unexpected opportunities.

Love can mean so many different things.

It might involve hoping to meet somebody compatible, encouraging greater harmony within an existing relationship or learning to appreciate yourself more fully.

I do not offer castings intended to control another person’s feelings, remove their freedom of choice or force somebody into a relationship.

The Full Moon is traditionally connected with reflection, gratitude, completion and releasing what no longer feels helpful.

My Full Moon themed castings may focus on letting go of old patterns, welcoming positive changes or bringing greater clarity to personal intentions.
 

Seasonal & Special Occasion Castings

I also introduce occasional themed casting evenings, combining different intentions with particular spiritual occasions.

These might include abundance and alignment, fresh starts, positive pathways or other special manifestation themes.

Do I Need to Do Anything Myself?

No, you don’t need to perform a ritual yourself.

That’s the lovely thing about a distant casting.

I carry out the spiritual practice on your behalf, using the intention associated with the casting you have chosen.

You don’t need to purchase candles, buy crystals, follow complicated instructions or be awake at a particular time unless a specific listing clearly says otherwise.

If you would like to spend a few quiet moments thinking about your intention, you are very welcome to do so, but it isn’t a requirement.

Some Moonbeams enjoy writing down their wishes or reflecting upon the things they hope to achieve.

Others prefer to place their order and simply carry on with their everyday lives.

You should never feel under pressure to perform additional rituals or purchase more products for a casting to be meaningful to you.
 

How Will Results Come?

This is probably one of the biggest questions surrounding manifestation.

When somebody chooses a casting, they often wonder how they will recognise whether anything has changed.

Within spiritual traditions, manifestation is frequently associated with the idea of welcoming opportunities, noticing possibilities and bringing positive intentions into our awareness.

For some people, an intention may encourage them to think differently about a situation, become more motivated or take steps they had previously been putting off.

Others may simply enjoy the reassurance of knowing they have taken part in a spiritual ritual that reflects something important to them.

There isn’t one particular way that a casting is supposed to unfold.

I don’t believe anybody should sit at home waiting for the universe to do absolutely everything for them.

Our choices, actions, circumstances and the opportunities available to us remain incredibly important.

Manifestation can be a lovely personal practice alongside the practical steps we take towards our goals.

However, there is no reliable evidence that a spell casting can directly cause external events or guarantee that an intention will become reality.
 

How Long Does a Casting Take to Work?

There is no guaranteed timeframe for a manifestation casting.

Some people may notice changes in their outlook or circumstances quite quickly, while others may not experience any particular development connected with their chosen intention.

I would never promise that a casting will produce a result within a certain number of hours, days or weeks.

Life is continually influenced by practical circumstances, personal choices and events beyond our control.

I encourage you to enjoy the spiritual experience without feeling that you must constantly search for signs or worry if nothing seems to be happening.

You certainly don’t need to order repeated castings simply because a particular wish hasn’t materialised.

What Is the Difference Between a Casting and a Psychic Reading?

Although both are part of the Moon & Manifest spiritual world, they are quite different experiences.

A psychic or tarot reading is an interpretive experience exploring your personal circumstances, questions, possible developments and spiritual guidance.

A spell casting is an intention based spiritual ritual that I carry out on your behalf.

A reading focuses on exploring and interpreting, while a casting focuses on the symbolic expression of a chosen intention.

You do not need to purchase a reading before having a casting, and you don’t need to book both together.

Each can be enjoyed independently.
 

Can I Choose More Than One Intention?

Certain castings are designed around one particular intention, while others may combine several related themes.

For example, an abundance and opportunity casting might focus on prosperity, confidence and recognising positive possibilities.

If a casting includes a choice of intentions, the product description will explain what is available.

If you have several different areas you would like to focus upon, you may prefer a general positive pathways casting or one of my specially combined offerings.

Please always check the individual listing before ordering.
 

Can I Have a Casting for Somebody Else?

This depends on the nature of the casting.

I am happy to work with positive intentions such as wishing somebody happiness, success or general wellbeing, provided the ritual is respectful and appropriate.

However, I do not offer castings designed to influence another person’s decisions against their wishes, control their romantic feelings, cause distress or interfere with their personal freedom.

I believe spiritual practices should be approached with kindness and respect for everybody involved.
 

How Do I Order a Distant Casting?

Ordering is lovely and straightforward.

Simply browse the available spell castings here on the website and select the one that appeals to you.

Read the description carefully, as some castings are available throughout the year while others may only be offered on particular dates or in limited numbers.

Choose your preferred intention where the option is available, add the casting to your basket and complete the checkout process.

Please make sure your contact email address is correct so that any important order information can reach you.

Once your order has been received, your casting will be scheduled or prepared according to the details advertised.

The listing will explain any special requirements or information you need to provide.

Unless your purchase specifically includes physical infused goods, a distant casting is a spiritual service, not a physical product being sent through the post.
 

Will I Receive Something Afterwards?

A distant casting is different from purchasing a written psychic reading.

The service you are purchasing is the performance of the spiritual ritual itself.

Any written confirmation, personal message, photographs or additional items included with a particular casting will be explained in its individual description.

Some special collections may include optional infused goods, such as crystal wish bottles, intention bracelets or spiritual pouches.

These are separate physical items unless clearly stated as part of the casting package.
 

A Gentle Note About Expectations

I want everyone who chooses a Moon & Manifest casting to understand exactly what they are purchasing.

Spell castings and manifestation are spiritual, intention based practices rooted in personal belief and tradition.

They should be enjoyed as such.

No casting can guarantee money, prizes, romantic relationships, employment, healing or any particular outcome.

A casting cannot replace medical treatment, financial advice, legal guidance or the practical decisions that shape everyday life.

I never want anybody to feel frightened, pressured or led to believe they must keep purchasing castings to avoid bad luck or make something happen.

Your personal circumstances, free will and decisions will always matter.

My aim is to provide a thoughtful and enjoyable spiritual service, carried out with care and a positive intention.
 

A Little About My Approach

For me, manifestation has always been connected with hope, positive thinking and the wonderful sense of possibility that comes from imagining a different future.

I love working with symbolic spiritual ingredients, choosing particular intentions and creating rituals that feel personal to the occasion.

I also love the changing seasons and the symbolism associated with the moon, which is why you’ll often see special castings appearing around particular phases of the lunar calendar.

But above everything else, I believe spirituality should feel welcoming.

You don’t need years of experience, a collection of expensive crystals or an understanding of complicated rituals to enjoy it.

You can simply be curious.

You can have your own beliefs.

And you can choose the parts of spiritual practice that feel meaningful to you.
